Isuzu Giga II gallery (2015–present)

The second generation of Isuzu Giga heavy trucks received an entirely new cab, modern engines, and advanced transmissions.

The second generation of Isuzu Giga heavy-duty trucks was officially unveiled in late 2015 at the Tokyo Motor Show. The vehicle received a completely redesigned aerodynamic cab with improved visibility and a modern ergonomic interior focused on maximum driver convenience. The powertrain lineup included advanced, fuel-efficient high-power Isuzu diesel engines, such as six-cylinder units with displacements of 9.8 and 15.6 liters, producing from 350 to 520 horsepower. The transmission options transitioned to newer manual and automated ZF Ecosplit gearboxes, ensuring optimal torque distribution and fuel efficiency. Modifications cover a wide range of chassis, tractor units, and dump trucks with 4x2, 6x2, 6x4, and 8x4 wheel configurations to handle the most demanding transport tasks. The model is actively sold in the domestic Japanese market and exported to key global countries, forming the backbone of the brand's heavy commercial vehicle lineup. The vehicle continues in production today, regularly receiving electronic safety assistants and technological updates.
