Hyundai i30 III (PD) gallery (2016–present)

The third-generation Hyundai i30 (PD platform) premiered in September 2016 prior to the Paris Motor Show. Engineered and tested extensively on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, the model features a high-rigidity chassis comprising 53% advanced high-strength steel. The product family encompassed a five-door hatchback, a Tourer wagon, and an elegant five-door i30 Fastback variant.

Engine technology highlighted turbocharged 1.0-liter, 1.4-liter, and 1.5-liter T-GDI petrol engines alongside 1.6-liter Smartstream turbodiesel variants, many paired with 48V mild-hybrid electrification. Transmissions include 6-speed manuals, iMT units, and 7-speed dual-clutch automatics. Facelifts in 2020 and 2024 revised V-shaped LED light signatures and dual digital displays.
