The Hyundai Bayon (BC3 platform) premiered in March 2021 as Hyundai's entry-level B-crossover for Europe. Named after the French city of Bayonne, the vehicle was built on the i20 platform. Stylistically, it featured arrow-shaped LED headlights, narrow hood DRLs, and boomerang-shaped rear light clusters.
Engine technology highlighted a 1.2-liter MPi (84 hp) and a 1.0-liter turbocharged T-GDI engine (100 hp or 120 hp) featuring 48V mild-hybrid electrification and intelligent manual transmission (iMT) options. A 2024 facelift introduced a full-width front LED light bar.
