Hyundai Accent III (MC) gallery (2005–2011)

The third-generation Hyundai Accent (MC) ran from 2005 to 2011 featuring a taller roofline, shared platform engineering, and modern CRDi engines.

The third-generation Hyundai Accent (MC chassis) premiered at the 2005 New York International Auto Show. Developed on a joint architecture shared with the Kia Rio JB, the MC generation boasted increased interior headroom and legroom over its predecessor. Body options included a four-door notchback sedan and a sporty three-door hatchback.

Engine configurations featured 1.4-liter Alpha II (97 hp) and 1.6-liter CVVT four-cylinder petrol engines, alongside a 1.5-liter U-line four-cylinder CRDi turbodiesel with variable geometry turbocharging (110 hp). Transmissions remained five-speed manuals and four-speed automatics. A minor 2008 update added refreshed grilles, updated audio units, and AUX input capabilities.
