Future Honda TrailSport Models to Receive Upgraded Suspension and V-6 Hybrid Power
Honda is moving its TrailSport lineup away from purely cosmetic packages toward genuine mechanical upgrades, led by the 2027 Passport TrailSport with 9.85 inches of ground clearance. Next-generation 2028 CR-V and Ridgeline models will follow with upgraded chassis hardware, a new V-6 hybrid powertrain, and factory off-road components from Honda Racing Corporation.

Honda Confirms Mitsubishi Triton-Based Pickup Truck for 2028
Honda and Mitsubishi have signed a memorandum of understanding to launch a Honda-badged body-on-frame pickup truck based on the one-ton Mitsubishi Triton. Scheduled to enter the Southeast Asian market in 2028, the truck will be built at Mitsubishi's manufacturing plant in Thailand.

Honda has revealed initial details of its next-generation hybrid architecture, officially branded Honda Hybrid, set to launch across approximately 15 models by March 2030. The setup will debut in 2027 on a lighter and stiffer platform with available electric all-wheel drive.
