The fourth-generation Honda Legend (KB1/KB2) launched in October 2004, winning Japan Car of the Year. It introduced Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) with active rear-wheel torque vectoring.
Powered by a 3.5L V6 (300 hp) and later a 3.7L V6 (307 hp in KB2), it utilized a 5-speed automatic. A 2008 refresh brought a new grille and LED lighting.
