2026 Honda Accord Updates Bring Added Features and Slight Price Increase
Although the current 11th-generation Honda Accord was introduced only recently in 2023, the 2026 refresh delivers subtle modifications accompanied by a minor bump in prices across the entire range. This update primarily focuses on improving one of the vehicle’s previously noted shortcomings—the infotainment system on the entry-level trims.
Regarded as a standout in the midsize sedan category, the Accord’s base models previously featured touchscreens that many found undersized. Honda appears to have taken this feedback seriously, as the 2026 model now equips all trims, including the LX and SE, with a standard 9.0-inch touchscreen display. Alongside this, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity have been added, as well as a wireless charging pad for smartphones. While the screen size remains modest by today’s standards, this is a definite upgrade. Additionally, the SE trim benefits from a new set of larger 19-inch wheels sporting a five-spoke design.
On the hybrid side, the 2026 Accord Sport Hybrid introduces new blacked-out exterior accents. In addition to black wing mirrors, it features gloss-black trim on the B-pillars, black badging on the trunk lid, and a matching black shark fin antenna, enhancing its sporty appearance.
Powertrain options remain unchanged for 2026, so fuel efficiency figures are expected to stay consistent with previous models.
Here is the updated pricing for the 2026 Accord lineup:
The price increase is quite minimal. The turbocharged LX continues to offer excellent value, and the fully equipped Touring trim remains competitively priced despite the small hike.
The refreshed 2026 Honda Accord is now arriving at dealerships as of December 18, just in time for the holiday season – perhaps a perfect gift for midsize sedan enthusiasts.
