Introduced in 2024, the second generation Haval H9 body-on-frame SUV features a bold boxy exterior styling combined with state-of-the-art off-road technologies.
The second generation Haval H9 retains a ladder-frame construction while adopting a boxy retro-inspired body design with circular LED headlights and a side-hinged tailgate. The chassis combines an upgraded live rear axle with double-wishbone front suspension. Drivetrain options feature a 2.0-litre GW4C20B turbocharged petrol engine developing 224 horsepower paired with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission, and a 2.4-litre GW4D24 turbodiesel producing 186 horsepower mated to a GWM 9-speed automatic transmission. An intelligent Torque-on-Demand all-wheel-drive setup incorporates a low-range gear set and locking front and rear differentials. Available in 5-seat and 7-seat configurations, the interior offers dual HD displays, physical off-road control toggles, and Level 2 driver assistance features. Premium highlights comprise soft leather trim, a panoramic glass roof, three-zone climate control, and a 360-degree camera suite with transparent chassis view. Assembly takes place in China with distribution across international markets including Russia.
