Haval H8 I gallery (2013–2018)

The first generation Haval H8 was built on a unibody platform featuring a longitudinal engine layout paired with double-wishbone front and multi-link rear suspension systems. Buyers could choose between rear-wheel drive and an intelligent all-wheel-drive configuration using a BorgWarner torque-on-demand transfer case. Power came from a two-litre GW4C20A turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine generating 218 horsepower, which was later upgraded to 252 horsepower alongside an available two-litre GW4D20 turbodiesel unit outputting 190 horsepower. Transmission duties were handled by either a six-speed or an eight-speed ZF automatic gearbox. The spacious interior emphasized comfort with premium leather upholstery, three-zone automatic climate control, a power sunroof, touchscreen infotainment, and a high-end Infinity sound system. Additional convenience features included adaptive front lighting, hill descent control, and parking sensors all around. The vehicle was marketed across China, Australia, South America, and selected Eurasian countries.
