The striking futuristic Geely Icon crossover stands out with its concept-car styling, mild hybrid powertrains, and certified antibacterial cabin air filtration.
The compact front wheel drive crossover Geely Icon bearing model code SX12 entered production in 2020. The vehicle faithfully reproduces the styling of the 2018 CONCEPT ICON, featuring blocky geometric surfaces, flush pop out door handles, slim split LED lighting, and infinity loop motifs. Built on the BMA modular architecture, power comes from a 1.5 liter turbocharged petrol engine producing 177 to 181 horsepower. The powertrain offers a 48V BSG mild hybrid system paired with a seven speed wet dual-clutch DCT gearbox. The modular BMA architecture enabled the creation of an exceptionally rigid body shell, delivering precise handling response and outstanding passive safety performance. The Icon achieved distinction as the world's first production vehicle equipped with an N95 certified antibacterial IAPS cabin air filtration system. Interior highlights include dual 10.25 inch digital screens, a panoramic glass roof, and Level 2 driver assistance.
