The Geely GC7 compact sedan, carrying internal code FC2, debuted in late 2011 under the Gleagle brand before being rebranded under the primary Geely badge in 2014. Developed as an evolution of the earlier Vision FC platform, it incorporates front MacPherson struts and a rear torsion beam suspension. Exterior styling features conservative sedan proportions, prominent front headlights, and a chrome-accented grille. Power is supplied by 1.5-liter and 1.8-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder engines with DVVT variable valve timing, producing between 106 and 139 horsepower. A notable technical milestone for this budget sedan was the availability of a 6-speed automatic transmission supplied by DSI alongside a standard 5-speed manual gearbox. The cabin offers seating for five passengers, featuring a touchscreen infotainment unit, automatic climate control, leatherette upholstery, and full power accessories. The GC7 was marketed across China, the Middle East, North Africa, and Eurasian countries until production concluded in 2017.
