The first generation Geely Galaxy L6 is a compact plug-in hybrid sedan built on the advanced e-CMA platform, combining aerodynamic design, NordThor hybrid tech, and intelligent cabin equipment.

The Geely Galaxy L6 compact sedan officially debuted in September 2023 as the second model in Geely Auto's electrified Galaxy product lineup. Built upon the modular e-CMA architecture co-developed with Volvo, the vehicle offers high structural rigidity, refined driving dynamics, and comprehensive safety features. Its exterior styling emphasizes futuristic design cues including a closed front fascia, slim full-width LED lighting strips, and flush door handles that contribute to excellent aerodynamic efficiency. Under the hood, the L6 houses the NordThor Hybrid 8848 powertrain, pairing a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 163 horsepower with an electric drive motor and a 3-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission. Combined system output reaches 390 horsepower and 535 Nm of torque, enabling zero-to-hundred acceleration in 6.3 seconds. Battery options include 9.11 kWh and 19.1 kWh lithium iron phosphate packs, delivering pure electric driving ranges between 60 and 125 kilometers under CLTC standards, while combined driving range exceeds 1,300 kilometers. Inside the cabin, driver interface centers on a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 13.2-inch vertical infotainment touchscreen driven by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip and Galaxy N OS. The vehicle features front-wheel drive, independent suspension, and a rich suite of Level 2 driver assistance systems. Primarily targeted at the domestic Chinese market, the model is also exported to select international destinations in the Middle East and Latin America.
