The first-generation GAC Yue 7 was introduced in 2026 as a new flagship full-size SUV from Chinese manufacturer GAC. Built on a modern platform engineered to integrate high-voltage traction batteries and electrified drive units, the five-door SUV measures 5,045 mm in length, 2,004 mm in width, and 1,933 mm in height, with a 2,900 mm wheelbase and a ride height of 230 mm. Its exterior dimensions and boxy styling elements closely mirror those of classic full-size off-road vehicles while prioritizing aerodynamic efficiency and cabin packaging.

Under the hood, the Yue 7 features a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain pairing a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine rated at 170 hp with electric drive motors. The range-topping all-wheel-drive version employs a dual-motor arrangement that delivers a combined system output of 578 hp, allowing the SUV to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds. The onboard battery pack enables an electric-only driving range of up to 261 km measured under the CLTC testing standard.

Mechanical off-road hardware includes an all-wheel-drive system equipped with a standard locking rear differential, an optional front differential lock, and an available adaptive air suspension on top-tier trims. Because the Yue 7 represents an entirely new model line for GAC rather than an evolution of an existing nameplate, it enters production without a direct predecessor, establishing a new performance benchmark for the brand's electrified utility vehicles.
