About this generation

The modern Ford Puma revived the badge as a stylish B-SUV featuring the innovative MegaBox storage compartment.

Unveiled in 2019, the second-generation Puma (BX726) reimagined the nameplate as a sleek compact crossover sharing platform elements with the Fiesta Mk7. The athletic exterior design features raised headlamps and sculpted body lines. A standout interior feature is the 80-liter MegaBox lower cargo compartment with a built-in drain plug.

Powertrains incorporate 1.0-liter EcoBoost three-cylinder engines paired with 48V EcoBoost Mild Hybrid technology. The performance-focused Puma ST packs a 200-hp 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine, stiffer anti-roll bars, and an optional mechanical limited-slip differential. An all-electric Gen-E model debuted for 2024.
