Ford KA III (Ka+) gallery (2016–2021)

The third-generation Ka+ transitioned into a practical five-door B-segment hatchback with an Active cross model.

Launching in Europe in 2016, the Ka+ replaced the previous 3-door city car with a practical 5-door hatchback built on Ford's global B-platform. Designed with a tall roofline, it offered surprising cabin headroom and five-passenger practicality. A four-door notchback sedan was also produced for global emerging markets.

Engines featured a 1.2-liter Ti-VCT three-cylinder petrol engine and a 1.5-liter TDCi diesel. The range was expanded with the rugged Ka+ Active crossover model featuring elevated ride height and protective body cladding, before exiting production in 2021. The lasting engineering impact of this generation remains a key benchmark in Ford's global model evolution history. Known for its dependable mechanical layout, the vehicle built a loyal customer base across diverse driving conditions. Offered with versatile feature packages, this iteration successfully balanced day-to-day usability with solid resale value.
