The first-generation Scudo was developed within the framework of Fiat and PSA collaboration. The model filled the gap between the compact Fiorino and the large Ducato. Thanks to its dimensions, the Scudo became an ideal tool for couriers and small service companies, offering a blend of passenger car dynamics and the cargo capabilities of a professional van, which ensured stable demand in the European logistics sector for many years.
