The BYD Ti 7 mid-size SUV (marketed in China as the Fangchengbao Ti7) entered series production in 2025. Designed with a rugged, boxy exterior aesthetic, the five-door SUV features short overhangs, prominent wheel arches, and a tailgate-mounted spare tire. Built on the modern Evo+ platform with unibody construction, the vehicle strikes a balance between off-road versatility and refined road manners. Powertrain options include a range-extended electric vehicle (EREV) setup with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine functioning as a generator, as well as pure battery electric (BEV) single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor all-wheel drive models. Energy storage is handled by BYD Blade Battery technology, enabling an electric-only range of over 120 km for hybrid models and up to 600 km for pure electric variants. The smart cockpit includes a 15.6-inch rotating central screen, digital driver display, built-in refrigerator console, and comprehensive multi-terrain driving modes. Exported to the UK, Middle East, and Latin America, the Ti 7 appeals to adventurous family SUV buyers.
