The first generation Changan CS75 mid-size crossover (factory code C928) debuted at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2013 and remained in assembly until 2024. Engineered on a unibody platform, the suspension features front MacPherson struts paired with an independent multi-link rear layout. The overall body length spans 4.65 meters. Initial powertrain options included a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engine with 158 horsepower and a 1.8-liter Blue Core turbocharged engine delivering 177 horsepower. The 2018 facelift introduced a direct-injected 1.5-liter turbo engine producing 178 horsepower. Transmissions comprised a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed Aisin automatic. Drive was available as front-wheel drive or BorgWarner intelligent all-wheel drive. In 2018, Changan launched the CS75 PHEV plug-in hybrid with dual electric motors offering up to 800 kilometers of total range. Cabin features included a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, digital cluster, leather seats, and 360-degree cameras. The C928 was exported to Eurasia, the Middle East, and Latin America.
