BYD M6 II gallery (2024–present)
The second generation BYD M6 launched in 2024 as a fully electric medium-size MPV tailored for international export markets across Southeast Asia and Latin America.
Unveiled at the Indonesia International Motor Show in July 2024, the second-generation BYD M6 revived the M6 nameplate as a dedicated electric multi-purpose vehicle built on BYD's e-Platform 3.0. Derived from the Song Max EV lineage, the 4.71-meter five-door MPV adopts the modern Dragon Face 3.0 design language with slender LED headlights and sculpted body bumpers. The cabin is offered in six-seat configuration with second-row captain chairs or a standard seven-seat layout. Power comes from a front-mounted electric motor producing 163 horsepower in the Standard Range trim or 204 horsepower and 310 Nm of torque in the Extended Range trim. Energy is stored in a BYD Blade LFP battery pack with capacities of 55.4 kWh or 71.8 kWh, delivering NEDC driving ranges between 420 and 530 kilometers with DC fast-charging capability up to 115 kW. Interior features include a rotating 12.8-inch DiLink central touchscreen, a fixed panoramic glass roof, wireless phone charging, ventilated front seats, and an ADAS safety package. Assembled in Shenzhen and Indonesia, the second-generation M6 targets global export markets including Thailand, Indonesia, India, and the Philippines.
