The Bugatti W16 Mistral is an ultra-exclusive open-top roadster designed to serve as the definitive swan song for Bugatti's legendary quad-turbo W16 powertrain. Built on a substantially re-engineered carbon-fiber monocoque derived from the Chiron family, the Mistral features a bespoke open-air roof structure without a permanent hardtop, engineered to deliver uncompromised torsional rigidity. Styling draws heavy inspiration from classic open-top models such as the 1934 Type 57 Grand Raid, featuring a wraparound curved windscreen, bespoke roof-mounted carbon ram-air induction scoops directly behind the passenger headrests, and signature X-motif taillights. Propulsion is provided by the apex 1600 hp iteration of the 8.0-liter W16 engine paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel drive. Engineered to achieve a top speed exceeding 420 km/h, the Mistral stands as one of the fastest roadsters ever produced. Production is strictly limited to 99 bespoke customer examples built at the Molsheim Atelier and distributed to top collectors worldwide.
