Bugatti Baby II I gallery (2020–present)
The Bugatti Baby II is a modern three-quarter scale electric tribute to the legendary Type 35, created for collectors and brand enthusiasts worldwide.
The Bugatti Baby II is a modern electric tribute to the legendary Type 35 Grand Prix car and the original 1926 Bugatti Baby (Type 52), developed by The Little Car Company in official collaboration with Bugatti. Unlike its historic predecessor, which was constructed at a 50 percent scale strictly for young children, the Baby II is engineered at a 75 percent scale to accommodate both teenagers and adult drivers. Built upon a bespoke rear-wheel-drive tubular chassis, it features an authentic geometry suspension paired with modern high-performance hydraulic brakes. The powertrain consists of an advanced electric motor powered by removable lithium-ion battery packs, delivering power to the rear wheels through a direct-drive single-speed transmission. The model was offered in three distinct specifications: the Base version with composite bodywork, the Vitesse with a carbon-fiber body, and the flagship Pur Sang featuring hand-formed aluminum panels. It also offered an optional Speed Key to unleash maximum performance. The Baby II was distributed globally as a strictly limited collector edition of 500 numbered units.
