The revived second-generation Bentley Brooklands was unveiled at the 2007 Geneva Motor Show and produced in strictly limited numbers from 2008 to 2011. Departing from the original four-door sedan body style, the second-generation Brooklands was conceived as a monumental pillarless four-seater grand touring coupe based on the Azure convertible and Arnage architecture. Under the long bonnet sat the most powerful evolution of the 6.75-litre twin-turbocharged L-Series V8 ever installed in that generation, producing 537 hp and an immense 1,050 Nm of torque. Power was routed to the rear wheels via a 6-speed ZF 6HP26 automatic transmission with semi-automatic sport shifting. The exterior featured a classic coachbuilt profile with a sweeping roofline, frameless glass, and imposing proportions. The bespoke interior delivered peerless luxury for four occupants, tailored with finest hides and wood veneers. Only 550 units were hand-crafted at Crewe, representing the ultimate high-performance coupe of the Arnage platform lineage.
