The Baojun RS-3 subcompact crossover was introduced in October 2019 as a tech-focused successor positioned alongside the popular 510 model. Built on SAIC-GM-Wuling's modular R-architecture, the RS-3 adopted the brand's 'Interstellar Geometry' design language with a large matrix grille and thin daytime running lights. Measuring 4305 mm long with a 2550 mm wheelbase, it was powered by either a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine (up to 105 hp) or a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine (147 hp), mated to a 6-speed manual or a CVT. The cockpit featured a 10.25-inch infotainment display, connected smartphone integration, and Level 2 autonomous safety features before concluding production in 2023.
