The Baojun KiWi EV debuted in August 2021 as a fashion-oriented evolution of the earlier E300 Plus microcar. Targeted at urban trendsetters, the four-seat electric hatchback features customized color schemes, rose-gold accents, and premium eco-friendly cabin materials within its 2894 mm length. In 2022, a joint edition with drone maker DJI was introduced, featuring the advanced DJI Drive autonomous driving assistant with dual binocular cameras. Powertrain outputs are rated at 54 hp or 68 hp, with a 31.9 kWh battery pack supporting fast charging and offering an NEDC range of 305 kilometers. Production ran until 2025. Produced by the SAIC-GM-Wuling joint venture, Baojun vehicles have built a strong reputation for practical utility, mechanical reliability, and accessible pricing. The KiWi EV model was engineered utilizing global development protocols and manufacturing expertise derived from General Motors.
