Unveiled in late 2023, the Avatr 12 is an executive luxury liftback sedan serving as the brand's flagship passenger car. Built on the joint CHN platform, the vehicle stretches over five meters long with a 3,020 mm wheelbase. The exterior design makes a futuristic statement by eliminating the traditional rear window in favor of a high-definition streaming camera, paired with optional digital side mirrors and an active rear spoiler. The interior showcases a full-width 35.4-inch 4K panoramic display running across the base of the windshield, complemented by a 15.6-inch central touchscreen running Huawei HarmonyOS. Cabin highlights include zero-gravity front seats and an electrochromic panoramic glass roof with adjustable tinting settings. Powertrain options initially consisted of pure electric BEV variants delivering 313 horsepower in single-motor RWD format and 578 horsepower in dual-motor AWD format, fed by a 94.5 kWh CATL battery. Later updates added a range-extended EREV version featuring a 1.5-liter gasoline generator, pushing total driving range past 1,100 kilometers on a single charge and fuel tank.
