Launched in 2008, the Audi RS6 C6 generation pushed engineering boundaries by fitting a colossal 5.0-liter V10 twin-turbocharged engine under its aluminum hood. Featuring FSI direct injection and a motorsport-derived dry-sump lubrication system, the high-revving V10 produced 580 hp and 650 Nm of torque. This immense output made the C6 RS6 the single most powerful production Audi ever built at the time of its release, outpowering even the flagship R8 V10 supercar while comfortably seating five passengers.

Offered in both Avant wagon and sedan forms, the C6 utilized a reinforced six-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission and rear-biased 40:60 quattro all-wheel drive. Visually set apart by muscular widebody arches, 10-LED daytime running light strips per headlight, and optional massive 420 mm carbon-ceramic front brake discs, the C6 RS6 combined breathtaking forced-induction V10 thrust with effortless high-speed continent-crossing capability.
