About this generation

Second modern generation of the Alfa Romeo Giulietta as a sporty C-segment crossover on the STLA One platform.

The revived second modern generation of the Alfa Romeo Giulietta debuts for the 2028 model year, transitioning from a traditional compact hatchback into a sporty C-segment crossover. Positioned above the Junior and carrying a more premium status than the Tonale, the new model draws heavy stylistic inspiration from the Cuorerosso concept and the 2003 Kamal show car. Its proportions feature a raised ride height without reaching traditional SUV dimensions, offering significantly more passenger and cargo volume than the previous Giulietta hatchback.

Underpinning the crossover is Stellantis' multi-energy architecture derived from the STLA One modular platform. This adaptable foundation supports conventional internal combustion petrol engines, electrified hybrid powertrains, and all-electric configurations. A high-performance Quadrifoglio variant is also engineered into the lineup, featuring dedicated suspension, sharpened steering, and upgraded brakes calibrated at Alfa Romeo's Balocco Proving Ground to maintain authentic driving dynamics.

Inside, the cabin takes design cues directly from the Cuorerosso concept, showcasing a driver-centric cockpit layout with next-generation digital instrument clusters and interfaces while honoring the brand's storied Italian styling heritage.
