Acura ZDX I (YB1) gallery (2009–2013)

The first-generation Acura ZDX (YB1) luxury crossover coupe was manufactured from 2009 to 2013 as a stylized mid-size crossover.

Introduced in late 2009 for the 2010 model year, the first-generation Acura ZDX (YB1 chassis) was a mid-size luxury crossover featuring a distinctive coupe-like roofline, hidden rear door handles, and an all-glass panoramic roof. Designed at Acura's studio in Torrance, California, the ZDX shared platform underpinnings with the second-generation MDX while adopting a dramatically styled body shell and a driver-focused cabin. Engineering priorities for this generation focused on structural rigidity, chassis refinement, and elevating active safety capabilities.

Powering the ZDX was a 3.7-liter J37A5 V6 engine producing 300 horsepower, mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission with steering wheel paddle shifters and standard SH-AWD torque-vectoring all-wheel drive. Production concluded after the 2013 model year following a brief final-year refresh that added a revised front grille and updated driver-assist sensors. A comprehensive list of standard features combined with proven powertrain durability helped secure a strong market presence in its segment.
