VW Disciples Construct GTI Cabrio Concept Model
The creative and talented newcomer VW team has just unveiled their latest project, cloned the VW GTI Cabriolet Austria at this year’s Wothersee event.
Got on the national colors of Austria, where the Worthersee event takes place, this convertible GTI sports some trendy work, and is professionally well done. The red-white convertible includes 330 hp from a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, which is mated to the automaker‘s sporty DSG dual-clutch transmission. The model is carefully done up in Austria’s colors from the exterior paint, to the side-view mirrors and even the brake calipers.
Talking about interior, the project includes some impressive setting with black, red and white Recaro seats with the country’s name sewed into them. The practical rear seats have been thrown away for a tremendous 2,250 watt music system.
This is the 6th project from the disciple team at VW. The group of thirteen is aged 17-23, and come from both VW’s Osnabrück and Wolfsburg zones. The project joins other magnificent concepts and treats showed at this year’s GTI event turned VW Auto Group showcase which takes place annually at Worthersee, Austria.
