What?! A Flying Car from Toyota!
It was reported that Toyota has filed an interesting patent not long ago. It suggests that the automaker may start developing a... flying vehicle!
The automaker filed the patent in America on March 2 last year. Toyota wants a stackable wing for an aerocar.
The abstract from the document says that a wing is formed of an upper surface. It creates a generally fixed shape. There also is a lower surface that is neighboured to the upper surface. The lower exteriority is morphable between a deployed shape and a stowed shape. The lower surface curves to the upper surface in its stowed shape. Then it curves away from the upper surface already being deployed.
It is fine if you have not unscrambled that piece of document. The patent is focused on a stackable wing, but more significant news report that the company is evidently developing an aerocar having wings! The background part of the patent explains that the present reveal refers to a car that is able to be driven as a land car and to flow as a fixed wing aircraft.
Maybe these are just dreams, but they also can be embodied in life. Let’s wait and see if Toyota turns those dreams in reality.
