Updated Toyota Highlander begins sales in Europe
Sales of the restyled Toyota Highlander crossover will start in Europe.
Europeans will get the car with one version of the powertrain - it will be a hybrid unit.
The updated Highlander will be available in Europe only in a seven-seat body version. The Toyota range will get a model above the mid-size RAV4 crossover.
The hybrid powertrain is based on a 2.6-liter gasoline engine that produces 248 horsepower. The first 100km/h is reached in 8.3 seconds, and the top speed is 180km/h. With one electric motor, the crossover can travel at a top speed of 125 km/h.
The basic variant has LED headlights, 3-Zone climate control, heated seats, and wireless charging for gadgets. More expensive options received 20-inch wheels, headlight washers, panoramic sunroof, 12.3-inch multimedia screen, JBL audio with 11 speakers, etc.
