Two Recalls from Toyota cover 112K Cars
Toyota has stated about two recalls.
The first recall touches nearly 2,500 Toyota Rav4 EVs. Details in the EV traction motor assembly can suddenly make the car to change into neutral because of the problem with software. A “check EV system” warning light will be active on the dashboard.
Dealerships are waiting the models with aim to repair them. Dealers will fix the EV traction motor.
Camry Hybrid, Highlander Hybrid, RAV 4 and Highlander are covered by the second recall. It takes place because of power steering function due to a circuit board that could have been out of order because of manufacture damage. The problem touches almost 110,000 cars.
The automaker’s dealers are going to deal with the steering column assembly. After that they will change the power steering control unit if needed.
There were no any known injuries or crashes caused by the issues.
