Toyota showed powerful RAV4
Toyota in Los Angeles has unveiled the plug-in hybrid RAV4 Prime.
The car picks up the first 97 km per hour in 5.8 seconds, which is the best indicator among all other crosses in the line.
The car received a hybrid powerplant, which includes a 177-horsepower gasoline 2.5-liter unit with two electric motors — a total of 306 "horses" of power. The vehicle takes the "hundred" 2 seconds faster than the last hybrid with 222 hp power. Fuel consumption is 2.6 liters per 100 kilometers.
The external design can distinguish the Prime version: a similar cross is recognizable by a slightly different design of the radiator grille with a new front bumper. The novelty has 18-inch disks with a multimedia system and an 8-inch display. Paying, a 9-inch screen with shift paddles, is available for ordering.
US dealers will receive new hybrids from mid-2020.
