Toyota Tacoma of 2016 is Ready for Presentation in Detroit
The last variant of small pickup from Toyota is ready to be presented at the forthcoming Auto Show in Detroit next year.
The automaker is sure that the little pickup truck market is ready for coming back. Bill Fray, the general manager of the company stated that the market should become larger with the innovated units coming in. The innovated units are the GMC Canyon and the Chevy Colorado. Both of them arrived at the market this year and represent the first innovated models which will hit the segment very soon.
The automaker is confident in the innovated Tacoma which is going to increase in manufacturing at the Baja assembly factory in California. The model still overcomes the segment in sales, nevertheless, overall sales of little pickups have decreased by 2.7% in 2014. At the same time the sales of full-size trucks increased by 6.6%.
There is no information about the innovated Tacoma now, but it is probably possible to consider that the automaker has changed the style of the truck along with the engines.
