Production Delay of New Toyota Prius
In the race to reach maximum efficiency Toyota is forced to improve its new Prius until it hits the assembly lines.
The initial work on the assembly had to be commenced more than a month ago, and now all the activity is postponed until late autumn. Fourth-generation Prius should not fall behind the current model in terms of fuel consumption, so another 10% increase of effectiveness is to be conducted.
Next Prius is going to adopt several innovations. Among them is the TNGA platform developed especially for the modern line-up of the Japanese company. Thermal figures produced by the petrol motor will also impress as they set a new record for the model.
The brand is also actively working on hybrid line-up expansion trying to engage more engines into production.
