A New Aggressive Face of 2016 Toyota Prius
Wald International has shown several new renderings of its latest design pack for this year’s Toyota Prius.
Judging from the picture, the offering will gain a stylish Sports Line pack. It spreads on a revised radiator enclosure, a new front bumper and a front lip spoiler. Expect it to ride with triangular LED daytime running lights and carbon fibber canards.
Moving closer to the back you will see lightweight alloys, body side graphics and sporty side skirts. The rear part also features an outstanding styling. You will find a 4-tailpipe sport exhaust set-up and an aggressive rear diffuser.
We suppose that the vehicle’s hybridized powerplant will be carried over. That is why the vehicle will probably be powered by a 1.8-litre Atkinson cycle V4 unit, 2 electric motor/generators and one electronically controlled continuously variable transmission. With all that the car will generate a combined output of 121 hp. Besides, it will return 54 mpg in the city and 50 mpg on the highway, as EPA has estimated. In combination it will output 52 mpg. The automaker also gives an Eco version with aerodynamic design tweaks. The hatchback will return 58 mpg in the city, 53 mpg on the highway and 56 mpg combined.
