2014 Release of Fuel Cell Toyota
Having found a new incentive, Toyota tries its best to deliver the first hydrogen fuel cell car this year.
Local media has revealed that all the assembly preparations should be finished by the company before December to start supplying the dealerships with the vehicle by the end of 2014. Probably, the reason behind this hastiness is the upcoming release of similar automobiles from competing Honda and Hyundai, because the previous plans of the brand implied a next year debut.
America already gained access to crossovers from Hyundai named Tucson in May.
The Japanese brand demonstrated what it intended to do with its first FCV in Tokyo 7 months ago. Cars working on hydrogen have electric motors with this matter being the energy source. They differ from all the other electric cars, particularly, from plug-in variants because they do not need much time to refuel, which makes them closer to conventionally powered vehicles in efficiency terms.
