Suzuki Jimny will say goodbye to Europe soon
Suzuki will finish selling popular Jimny SUV in Europe in 2021.
The reason for this decision is the car’s emissions of many harmful substances into the atmosphere, which violate EU standards.
By the way, the revival of the model took place last year — the car provided with a traditional square body design and some modern technology elements. The vehicle received bestseller status in many countries of the world. For example, in the UK, for 2019, a many-month-long queue formed of consumers who wanted to buy this all-terrain vehicle.
The revived Jimny has a 1.5-liter gasoline engine. It is this unit that does not meet the requirements of the European Union regarding the level of CO2 emissions. The company has no way out, so from 2021 the model will say goodbye to the European market.
