Meet 2016 World Car of the Year: Mercedes-Benz C-Class
The Mercedes-Benz C-Class was officially recognized as the 2016 World Car of the Year today at the Auto Show in New York.
Thankfully to the model, a product from the VW Group (the Volkswagen Passat) did not get the award firstly in three years. The model also edged the Ford Mustang. The W205 C-Class is significantly bigger than the W204 generation. The vehicle can be obtained with a turbocharged V4 or V6 engine in the American market.
You may remind us that there also is the high performance eight-cylinder AMG model, but that is a completely different animal. The C300 costs $39,325. Buying this vehicle you are getting a 2.0-litre V4 turbocharged engine which sends power to the rear wheels with the help of a 7-speed automatic gearbox. The pricing for the six-cylinder engine kicks off at $49,515.
