Information about 4th Range Rover based on Jaguar F-Pace appeared
Some information about a 4th Range Rover model starts to emerge. The model seems to be out in the second part of 2016.
The gossip about an innovated Range Rover offering spread only a week ago. The model will be placed below the Sport and above the Evoque. Autocar reports that the car will be based on the coming-soon Jaguar F-Pace. Though, it will have a longer wheelbase. The last will grant a cabin with more space. The option for a seven-seat layout will also be available. The base offering will cost £40,000 (€55,220 or $58,630). The price will go up to £65,000 (€89,700 or $95,275) for the variant with the superfluity.
The cheaper variants will be equipped with Ingenium turbocharged petrol and diesel V4. At the same time higher-spec offerings will get beefier turbocharged V6 engines and a four-wheel drive layout. According to a report, the offering will give birth to a completely electrical car with the same set-up as the Jaguar F-pace EV which provides a maximum range in perfect conditions of nearly 300 miles (or 482 km). The zero-emissions variant will definitely cost more. Its price might go up at least to £85,000 (€117,300 or $124,600).
This new offering will have a lower roofline. The car will be optimized for road usage mostly. The producer will try to make the vehicle more appealing. The car is going become an alternative to wagons with high performance. The vehicle will be produced at the Solihull plant. It will share the line-up with the mentioned before F-Pace and the XE.
