Jeep Wrangler hybrid introduced

Jeep has unveiled a hybrid version of the Wrangler 4xe for Europe. 

The all-terrain vehicle has a 380-horsepower unit with the ability to travel 50 km on a single electric charge. The car can be charged from a socket in 3 hours, and acceleration to the first 100 km per hour takes 6.4 seconds. In Europe, the novelty will arrive from June this year.

The exterior of the Wrangle Hybrid differs from the standard car with decorative elements of blue color Electric Blue.

The power plant consists of a 2.0-liter gasoline turbocharged engine with a pair of generators, and the gearbox is an 8-band "automatic."

SUV will please and all-wheel-drive system Selec-Trac, axles Dana, Tru-Lok differentials with electric locking drive, Trac-Lok high friction differential, as well as stabilizer bars, where there is an electric detachment drive.

For Europe, the novelty is available in three versions: Sahara, Rubicon, and 80th Anniversary (dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the company). Equipment of Wrangler 4xe includes an 8.4-inch multimedia screen, Alpine audio with nine speakers and a subwoofer, a system of control over the blind spots, and much more.

The cost of the Jeep Wrangler 4xe in Europe is not yet known.
