Get an Exclusive Preview of the 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee

The highly anticipated 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee is on the brink of its debut. To generate excitement among enthusiasts, Jeep has shared two sneak peek images that showcase the SUV’s refreshed exterior and enhanced interior features.

In terms of design, the 2026 model maintains much of the front-end styling seen in the previous version. It features a wide, compact slatted grille paired with horizontally aligned headlights, now featuring newly designed eyebrow-shaped daytime running lights. The lower section of the bumper has been updated with additional details, including a body-colored divider between the grille and new chrome highlights.

The interior retains the familiar layout but introduces several key improvements. The infotainment system has been upgraded with a larger screen and now includes two physical knobs on either side for better control. The climate control has been simplified to a single row of buttons located just below the screen, accompanied by a new storage compartment underneath. The existing control panels above the screen and the passenger’s display remain intact.

Overall, the 2026 Grand Cherokee represents a significant refresh rather than a complete redesign. Jeep plans to offer the model in both the standard two-row configuration and the L-badged three-row variant. Additionally, the 4xe plug-in hybrid version will continue to be available for 2026. Although Jeep has not officially confirmed the powertrain options, there is speculation that the traditional V-6 engine might be replaced by Stellantis’s new turbocharged Hurricane straight-six engine.

Production of the 2026 Grand Cherokee will take place at Jeep’s Detroit assembly facility, with manufacturing set to begin later this year. Initial deliveries to dealerships are expected shortly after production commences.

Pricing details for the 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee have not been announced yet. The current model starts at $38,490, including destination fees, for the base rear-wheel-drive trim equipped with a 293-horsepower V-6 engine. If the new model adopts the Hurricane engine as a standard feature, the starting MSRP is anticipated to increase.
