Web Appearance of Jaguar XE

Soon to be released, Jaguar XE 2015 has been caught off-guard at a testing site.

Compact saloon will compete with niche counterparts of BMW, Audi and Mercedes-Benz riding on an innovative platform. True diversity is planned in powertrain department with V4, more powerful V6 and a supercharged eight-cylinder joining the line-up. Another likely variant is roaring XER-S with its 542 bhp.

Even before the spy photos appeared, it was understood that XE would not manifest a radical approach to design. A lot of details will be carryover; among them are LED lighting, special form of the hood and massive grille. Slanting roof, high trunk and a bunch of aerodynamic characteristics finish the ensemble.

Most likely, Jaguar will delegate its new product to the Paris event this autumn, with the dealership release to follow next summer.
