Not any J-Pace model is being considered by Jaguar
Jaguar has stated that a bigger SUV named “J-Pace” is not being developed.
Automobile Magazine assured in the beginning of May that the automaker is developing a J-Pace. According to the rumour, it was supposed to come out in four years. She model should have been based on the Range Rover. Rumours are rumours. Richard Agnew, the automaker’s global PR director shares with Motoring that J-Pace simply does not exist. He identified the report as “pure speculation”. According to the original gossip, the model under consideration had to have regular and long wheelbase variants and a high-class SVR edition. Moreover, it was supposed to have even a plug-in hybrid derivative.
The PR director states that the company is currently analyzing their prospects to create a smaller crossover which can be placed below the J-Pace. Agnew specifies that a Jaguar crossover/SUV is envisioned as sporty, therefore a large seven-seat offering cannot be under consideration.
The automaker shares that the F-Pace will be unveiled on September 4. After the reveal, the car will head to the Motor Show in Frankfurt.
