Kona EV From Hyundai Is Targeting At 390km Range
The next year’s Hyundai Kona should spawn a fully-electric variant, says the automaker.
Revealing the latest small SUV, a panel of executives told that they want to reach a mass-production of Kona EV starting from 2018.
The producer is sure that Kona EV can be successful if it is able to provide a driving range similar to a conventional petrol car. The producer wants a range of more than 390 km for a single charge.
That makes 110 km more than the range claimed by the EV of the Ioniq hatchback that combines an 88kW electric unit with a 28kWh lithium-ion battery.
