Hyundai Kona Electric will drive 415 km on a single charge
The official statement by the South Korean company says that the electric Hyundai Kona Electric 2019 SUV will have a power reserve of 415 km with one full charge.
Not long ago, the US Federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced a similar mileage for a car, but now a company has confirmed it.
The new Hyundai Kona Electric will turn out much more thrifty than its main rivals in the face of Nissan Leaf, Renault Zoe, and Chevrolet Bolt with the Opel Ampera-e. All these models have a mileage of 380 kilometers on a single charge.
The Korean electric car has a 64 kWh lithium-ion battery and a 201 horsepower electric motor with 394 Nm. 80% of the charge will take 54 minutes at the expense of a fast charging station of level 3, or 9.5 hours from a standard power supply network.
