The Seven-Seat X1 from BMW was spied
BMW is completing its seven-seat X1 crossover. According to the rumours, it will be named the X1 Grand.
The family-friendly offering was spied while undergoing testing not long ago. It has a familiar styling with a new front bumper, taller roofline and redesigned headlamps. Besides, the crossover boasts modified taillights and a flatter beltline.
Speaking of the engines, they will probably be taken from the regular offering. There might be two 2.0-litre V4 petrol engines generating 231 hp (or 170 kW) and torque of 350 Nm (or 258 lb-ft) or 192 hp (or 141 kW) and torque of 280 Nm (or 207 lb-ft). As to diesel options, expect three 2.0-litre V4s with 150 hp (or 110 kW) and torque of 330 Nm (or 243 lb-ft), 190 hp (139 kW) and torque of 400 Nm (or 295 lb-ft) or 231 hp (or 170 kW) and torque of 450 Nm (or 331 lb-ft).
