Price Tag for M3 and M4 from BMW: Starting from $62,925
BMW has released the prices for its 2015 models M3 and M4; the customers will have to pay $62,925 to $65,125 respectively.
The figures indicate a $2,000 rise from the price range of older models, but the new vehicles will not leave the buyers disappointed.
Both models are rather powerful: they are packed with turbocharged engines of 3.0-litre capacity, 425 hp and torque of 406 lb-ft. It is all supported by a manual gearbox for six speeds with throttle regulation in the standard package. The customers can also opt for a dual-clutch gearbox for sever speeds.
The cars also turned to be unanimous in terms of interior materials: carbon fibre is widely used in the cabin. Both models work on a rear-wheel drive incorporating extra light driveshaft of reinforced plastic based on carbon fibre. The same material was used for many other purposes during assemblage.
The designers of the models decided even to finish the roof in carbon fibre. The cars only benefited from it in terms of weight – light material lowered the centre of gravity. Strut braces of the underhood are also carbon fibre.
