Paparazzi Caught the Next Year's M5 from BMW
The 2017 M5 from BMW has been detected not far from the automaker's Nürburgring testing centre.
Though the vehicle is dressed in heavy camouflage, there are a few signs proving that this BMW 5 series is not an ordinary one. At the front you will find a cool twin kidney grille and big lower inlet with mesh inserts. The sporty design is observed at the back. The prototype boasts lightweight alloys. They are backed up by high-performance brakes. Besides, the 4-tailpipe exhaust system proves that the engine is more powerful.
By the way, the offering should be equipped with an upgraded variant of BMW’s 4.4-litre M TwinPower Turbo eight-cylinder motor. Now it is able to produce 560 hp. According to the reports, the new version will output up to 626 hp. There also should be a weight loss. The car can become 220 pounds lighter. This will enable the new vehicle to sprint from 0-60 mph in almost 4.0 seconds. The M5’s top speed stands at 155 mph.
If you live in a cold climate, expect the next year’s M5 with an optional 4-wheel drive.
