I3 Spaghetti Car from BMW is not an Art Car
What?! Spaghetti and toilet paper?! Is that the secret of success? BMW has revealed the latest i3 Spaghetti Car.
The vehicle was developed for Rencontres d’Arles Festival of Photography. It was created together with Toilet Paper. The car is being billed as a bi-annual avantgarde picture-based publication. It is also called a brand developed by Maurizio Cattelan.
This one-off offering is not an official automaker’s car. Actually, it features Toilet Paper badging and a spaghetti-inspired wrap. The artist said that that was the best Spaghetti Car he has ever tasted. He considers his creation to be “totally awesome” and that all the years of hard work paid off.
According to Cattelan’s wish, the work will be destroyed after the festival.
The discussed model is not an art car. However, the producer revealed that an M6 GT3 will become a “rolling sculpture”. It is being developed by multimedia artist Cao Fei from Beijing and John Baldessari, the legend of West Coast. BMW promised to show it at the coming-soon racing events.
